Summary:
Senior Custom Solutions Engineer will design, develop, and maintain custom applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, as well as Dataverse and model-driven applications. You will also leverage your expertise in .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, Angular, Visual Studio, and VS Code to build integrated solutions that work seamlessly within the Microsoft Office ecosystem, including SharePoint and Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Custom Applications: Build and maintain custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), Dataverse, and model-driven apps, ensuring high-quality and secure solutions.
- Source Control & Development Practices: Manage source code repositories, ensure proper build systems, and adhere to industry-standard source control practices for versioning and deployment.
- Platform Stability & Security: Follow established standards to maintain the stability, reliability, and security of Microsoft development platforms, ensuring all solutions meet organizational security and compliance policies.
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and transform business needs into technical solutions. Collaborate with other developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Project Coordination: Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Problem Solving & Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for custom applications. Assist with testing, training, and documentation to ensure smooth deployment and operation.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and best practices to foster skill development and professional growth within the team.
- Power Platform Integration: Design and implement custom solutions using the full suite of Microsoft Power Platform tools, including creating custom connectors and automating business processes through Power Automate.
- Governance & Monitoring: Help manage and monitor the health and performance of Power Platform applications, ensuring solutions meet operational standards and guidelines.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Lead training sessions and workshops to educate teams and end-users on the features and capabilities of Power Platform solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with the latest features, tools, and updates in the Power Platform and .NET technologies, integrating new advancements into existing solutions.
- Other duties as required.

Technical Expertise
- Power Platform: Extensive experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. Ability to develop custom connectors and automate business processes.
- .NET Development: Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, TSQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular. Familiarity with application design and programming within the .NET Framework.
- Azure DevOps: Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps Git Repos, CI/CD Pipelines, Artifacts, Git branching/pull requests, Code reviews.
- Windows Server Administration: Strong proficiency in managing Windows Server and IIS.
- SQL Server Administration: Strong proficiency in managing Microsoft SQL Server.
- Microsoft Office Integration: Experience integrating custom applications with SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Project Management: Proven ability to work across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality solutions on time.
- Security & Compliance: Knowledge of security and compliance best practices for enterprise applications, particularly within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required.
- Good interpersonal skills and demonstrates a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to various assignments, project changes, and deadlines while remaining productive.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Healthcare experience preferred.
Education and Experience
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in information services or related field and minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience required.
