Job Requisition Number 32855Part Time (12 hours per week)
3:30pm to 7:30pm one evening during the week and 11:00am to 7:30pm every other weekend and a holiday rotation
Onsite for Nutrition Services
Summary:
The Dietetic Student Assistant assists with screening patients for nutritional risk, documenting nutrition follow-up, writing modified diets, and using the nutrient analysis program.Responsibilities:
1. Screens patients for nutritional risk.
2. Documents nutrition follow-up, writes modified diets, and uses the nutrient analysis program.
3. Other duties as required.
Technical Expertise
1. Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
2. Experience in healthcare is preferred.
3. Proficiency in MS Office [Outlook, Excel, Word] or similar software is required.
Education and Experience
1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Junior status in nutrition program or graduate student in an approved nutrition program.
2. Years of relevant experience: 0 to 2 years is preferred.
3. Years of experience supervising: None.
